Those Autumn Leaves

I wanted to convey a sense of depth in this image ... The relatively well defined foreground leaves highlighted by there red colour act like a curtain. Our eyes seek to look past to the gate and more subdued colours in the background. A very satisfactory piece of artwork on all accounts . However that is just my impression.
